Epic fail by Hermes

After our daughter ordering from Asos she tried twice since December 5 to send items back without any collection.

Unknowingly I used a site to book their service for return of a faulty item.

When they failed to collect last night I phoned them and the agent to her credit arranged for the driver to come immediately she said he did not answer straight over the non collection.

She also asked me to be sure to get a receipt.

The recording shows he did not have this and told me he was doing me the favour by coming. Astounding.

Youtubevideo can be found by searching myhermes courier as I am not allowed to post the link here

I've watched the video. You come across as a very unpleasant character OP. I'm glad the courier walked away, you have no right covertly recording people and posting it online.

I just watched the video and although it's annoying I wouldn't call it an 'epic fail'. It's bog standard that the couriers don't care. They are paid very little and he would have come at that time having no extra payment for it so although I don't think he was doing you a favour I can see what he meant by saying that. He wasn't benefitting from it.
I think your attitude did you no favours whatsoever and you can see the guy isn't bothered by your threats, this will be because absolutely nothing will come of it.

I think you were rude and abrupt with the courier, the no shows may or may not of been down to him personally. The couriers are overwhelmed with work at the moment and your return pick-up was just an oversight due to the mountains of deliveries they are doing. I can imagine he was doing you a 'favour' because if he was still working he would of had he receipt book with him, he most probably was doing his own thing after he had knocked off for the day, you could of just been polite and asked him to come back when he had his book with him....

It's not an epic fail on the couriers behalf and I think your very unfair posting a video of someone who hasn't done anything wrong

I agree with the other posters, you don't come across very well at all in this,

I think if you expected to garner support on here you're likely to be mistaken.

There are now parcel shops all over the place including for myHermes. As you have a car, yes the driver was doing you a favour by coming out.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)

I wonder if the OP will "issue proceedings via Hermes against" the delivery guy as he threatened to do.

Perhaps the delivery guy could reciprocate by 'issuing proceedings' for posting his face on t'internet......smiley-rolleyes010.gif

However the 'issue proceedings' did make me laugh.

If you had any decency you'd remove that video from Youtube as you have no right to try and humiliate a man who was just doing his job.

The only person who comes out badly from this is you.

    Op your behaviour is disgusting!

You are the classic example of a bad customer.

I would also recommend anyone to watch the video and vote it down. So far it has 70 likes (the op has obviously shared it to his mates) and 2 dislikes. This is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8HKCTNF3Uw
