Online gig ticket purchase

Hi
I bought 2 gig tickets online and found out that my girlfriend also bought tickets.
As I bought them online are they categorised as goods and therefore I'm able to claim a refund?
Thank you,
David
PS It's clearly my mistake not my girlfriend's!

No you wont be able to claim a refund, as with most, if not all ticket sales they are non-refundable, unless the event doesn't go ahead.
Best you can hope for is to sell them on and get your money back that way.0 -
Take a couple of friends as a Christmas present?0

Talk more to your girlfriend!0

Having just heard about the tickets for such benign acts as Elton John and Adele going for £3000, perhaps you could tout them onwards and make some cash?0

Thanks everyone. It's the classic Christmas present situation - her sister had bought two tickets for me and I've gone ahead and bought them too. Anyway, anyone want to see the Icicle Works in Oxford??0

Ah, I withdraw my comment about the 3 grand then! I guess you can hope it's sold out and tout them on the day at the venue. I am sure the tickets are a wonderful colour...0
