Online gig ticket purchase

Hi

I bought 2 gig tickets online and found out that my girlfriend also bought tickets.

As I bought them online are they categorised as goods and therefore I'm able to claim a refund?

Thank you,
David

PS It's clearly my mistake not my girlfriend's!

No you wont be able to claim a refund, as with most, if not all ticket sales they are non-refundable, unless the event doesn't go ahead.
Best you can hope for is to sell them on and get your money back that way.

Having just heard about the tickets for such benign acts as Elton John and Adele going for £3000, perhaps you could tout them onwards and make some cash?
  • Thanks everyone. It's the classic Christmas present situation - her sister had bought two tickets for me and I've gone ahead and bought them too. Anyway, anyone want to see the Icicle Works in Oxford??

Ah, I withdraw my comment about the 3 grand then! I guess you can hope it's sold out and tout them on the day at the venue. I am sure the tickets are a wonderful colour...
