Telephoned Virgin Media to cancel, then received a call from them offering a far better deal.
Had just M+ tv only deal at £16.99 per month plus £2.50 from January 2016 so £19.49 per month £233.88 pa
New deal is £7.00 per month £84.00 pa.
A saving of £12.49 per month £149.88 pa
Not bad for a 5 minute phone call

Were you actually going to cancel? I've threatened to do this and they offered me some stupid deal to stay which didn't save me that much money. I'm wondering whether to call their bluff and give them 30 days notice to cancel?0

I've phoned and cancelled Virgin Media as they didn't offer me anything to stay. They've already called to do a telephone feedback survey but it was automated. Way to make a girl feel special.
Do they call back with offers? I don't want their TV but would quite like to keep the broadband if they come near the Sky Fibre price.2016 diet challenge 16lbs/42lbs lost
