In view of the exposure today by the Daily Mail about parking at Lidl,

Folks, if you experience similar problems shown on this thread, send you story to the Daily/Sunday mail.

In particular, if you are being chased by Equita, expose the sham

Shopped in Lidl, 2 days in a row for small items, got 2 tickets in London. Gutted and wrote a polite email to them telling them, whether they cancell ticket or not I'll still shop there as I love their product and prices. Wished them merry xmas , a day letter, received email saying on this occasion, tickets will be cancelled.

    I'm over the moon.

  • The easiest way to avoid getting a fake parking ticket is to boycott any establishment that employs a PPC to 'manage' it's car park.

I am lucky and can choose to shop at either of the 2 big supermarket chains without fear of having to fight off a PPC. In the same town we have an Aldi and a Lidl, they will never see any of my money as they employ PPCs in their carparks.

I encourage everyone to boycott companies that employ PPCs.

The idea is to tell them, the supermarkets that is, if a CEO gets lots of complaints, he/she would be foolish to ignore. Lidl are waking up to this, Aldi are still fast asleep. As they are actually two brothers in real life, it's possible they don't talk to each other so the outright winner for customers could be lidl
  • Those that go back after getting a ticket get what they ask for.
