Missing parcel whose at fault?! HELP

2»

Comments

  • I think that any delivery firm that leaves a parcel in a refuse bin is clearly in the wrong unless the addressee has expressly instructed them to do so. Even if a delivery note is left they can't know that the addressee is going to read it before the bin may be emptied (away for the weekend, away on two weeks holiday).

FWIW, (1) I don't always check my bin before putting it out for collection as I presume (reasonably I think) that it only contains rubbish for disposal that I've put in it, and (2) if any of us aren't about for collection day, neighbours put each others bins out. I wouldn't check my neighbour's bin to see what's in there and neither would I expect them to check mine.

So it got delivered Friday, parcel placed in the bin because she was out, card through the door, Monday she puts the bin out to be emptied then finds the card?
She would of been notified by EBay the parcel is on it way so I would of been tracking it....Did you supply the tracking number?

Apart from anything else, who doesn't put rubbish in the bin for 4 days?

Check her feedback history she if there is any indication of a pattern.
