You're doing a great job. They're trying to intimidate you with the legal process, but you have nothing to fear. You only need to tough it out until they give up.0

Hello everyone again just little update, I told you I received a letter from Lowells stating they are changing there solicitors to their own (Lowell solicitors) I know they want to proceed with ccj as the end of the letter states (we confirm its our clients intention to proceed in this matter?)
Then today I received a letter from Lowells (your annual statement?) it says, please note your account is being managed by Lucas credit services ltd, if you have any questions please contact Lucas credit ltd.
it's just so confusing are companies like this that messy in what they do? As I don't know where I am with them! Also noticed that instead of £1282 that they are after they have added all the court costs and on my credit report says I owe £1534 bloody criminals. I don't know what's going on and would just like some of you great lot to give your opinion what's going on?
I will try and scan the letters tomorrow and put them up. Thank you all hope your all well!

Lowell are just trying to confuse the issue, and you, by throwing around red herrings.
Lowell use various 3rd party DCA's to administer accounts they buy, they push things to the envelope in the hope you will crack and pay up.
Previous advice stands, if what you've told us is correct, there argument is flawed.

Thanks sourcrates! Yeah I'm positive that I've not paid anything to lowells or acknowledged the alleged debt.
I have just been to my dads now and literally just opened another letter from Lowells about another debt but Its from 5+years ago, it says it's from provident but I cannot remember it, it's a pre legal assessment letter? They say it could escalate to a ccj, it also says they can get in touch with employer to take out my wages shall I cca them? They say it's for £254 I was abit nieve with money when I was young but sorted myself out and the only debts I have is the ccj that my dad ran up. Thank you sourcrates.0 -

Yes CCA them.
An attatchment of earnings order can only be applied for if the creditor has been granted a CCJ, and you fail to keep up payments on that CCJ.
So they can't do anything without the courts say so, and you have the chance to dispute there actions at every stage, they are very subjective about the information they give you in these letters, full of !!!! mostly !!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Hello everybody just a quick update or lack of... I still have heard absolutely nothing from lowells about the ccj which is annoying but I know with all the help I've received from you all I've responded with good defence etc.
Also I stated on my last post that Lowell have sent a letter about a another debt I had no idea about, I sent them a cca request with a £1 postal order and put on the back cca request only. The template I sent give the 12 days+2 and I sent them on the on the 13th Feb but haven't had any acknowledgement either, what do I do now as I'm sure the time is up nearly? Thank you all,

Afraid it's rinse and repeat with the waiting game, the 14 days are just guidelines, they have to refer back to the original creditor, it can take a couple of months to get a response, send reminder after a month has passed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
