That is absolutely true. The odds are fixed.
It does potentially, however, reduce the amount you win when matching up 6 numbers.0 -

It already has been him and the others, because unlike the losers who play the lotto they have already been paid to appear in the ads.0

don,t let it be him (or her) , they have paid those has-beens enough not to need buying a lottery ticket!

Camelot also under the spotlight for using premium rate 0844 numbers.
In today's Guardian:
http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/dec/14/national-lottery-operator-greedy-foolish-0844-phone-number-use
All 084, 087 and 09 numbers are premium rate with an additional Service Charge paid to the benefit of the called party and their telecoms provider. Where the Service Charge is more than 7p per minute or per call, the number is further defined as a Controlled Premium Rate Service (CPRS) and subject to additional PhonepayPlus regulation.0 -
I think a lot of people here need to go back to school and resit maths. The odds do get smaller the more tickets you buy0

No-one said they didn't, the point is that someone else buying tickets doesn't make your odds longer. It just means you win less if you've got the same ticket.0
