Is it worth buying information on suppliers from eBay?

Oh and btw the seller is a registered business specialising in selling information like this. His company can be found at https://www.companieshouse.gov.uk where all business are registered.
You can order directly from the supplier, dont need to be a business, no documentation needed. Maybe his future suppliers may need info like that because he said 'for this supplier you dont need....'.0 -
Hope it goes well for you.

1/2 an hour on Google, and you can find wholesale suppliers galore, in all product types, Do a search for Spring and Autumn Fair, 4,000 Wholesalers at one big trade event.0

I have been in business for 23 years, 5 years on ebay & web sales. I find suppliers are still very suspicious and want trade references, bank references (business acc. required) VAT & company reg. no and they do not like private addresses. Very often they will want to send a rep round to suss you out. Have you checked the info isn't on floodle?0

I find that only if you want a credit account, most wholesalers are a doddle to get into, Its a myth peddled by traders to put off competition. Unless you want to be an authorised stockists of say Oakley Products, then thats a different matter all together.0 -
Yes I agree but I'm not talking about general wholesalers like Makro or Costco I am talking about suppliers of genuine branded goods like Sony & Panasonic, they will only supply you if you set up a credit account.0

I wouldnt class Makro and Costco as true wholesalers, they are over priced noddy shops, fine if you have a big family but the profit margins for traders are dire there, and you can find branded goods easy enough, just takes a bit of effort.0
