Anyone Love Molten Brown? But Not The Prices??

I don't think the MB products are that special but as someone said earlier, everyone knows how expensive they are so they appeal to the snob in many of us. They are on display in the bathroom for guests to see, and they look better packaged than Palmolive. That's all.
Same with candles. Someone I know went to a private 'candle party' last week and it was all the famous brands being sold cheaply by the distributor as old stock, but the point is they were all made in the same factory.0 -
To be honest I think Bayliss and Harding should be sued for completely copying the Logo and deliberatly copying the packaging to Molton Brown. I have sampled it and the smell does not last as long hence why its cheaper. Molton Brown is pure luxury, essential oils in the products. They do really great sales in the Summer and Boxing Day where you can get value packs and their Xmas Giftsets are really great value!
Molton Brown ALL THE WAY!!!!0 -
I must admit, I've never seen the big deal with Molton Brown, my Mum travels alot and alot of hotels supply Molton Brown or L'occitane in the rooms, also you often get those 2 brands in the little toiletry bags supplied on flights.
L'occitane I adore, Molton Brown for me is kind of meh, I don't dislike it, I just don't get the big deal, and I'd never bought anything by them (I've tried alot of samples/trial size bottles from my Mum).
I used to only use expensive products but I can no longer afford to be such a snob, I don't think there's anything wrong on splurging on some luxury items though, I know there's a few items I'll probably always buy, even if it means going without something else.
