I tried this - I have VERY sensitive skin... Needless to say it feels horrid, nothing like MB, and brought me out in a rash...
I'm sorry Molton Brown, I will never stray again!!!April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -
QVC usually has a few Molten Brown 'Today Special Values' each year.
You tend to get around 8 products (many of which are full sizes) for around the £30 mark, which for Molten Brown is very good value.
Bicester Village outlet village also has a Molten Brown shop which is quite a bit cheaper that the high street stores.0 -
TJ Hughes, Bodycare and Fenwick also sell this brand. As well as the Molton Brown lookalikes, they also do a brand called beautilicious, which is done in 50's, benefit style packaging. I recently bought a body lotion for 50p from TJ Hughes in the beautilicious range.
It's not as good, or luxurious as Molton Brown in my opinion, but at the end of the day I'd rather save my money towards something a bit more worthwhile.0 -
the Molton Brown factory shop in Premium Outlets near new york is your best place.
Everything was under 10$0 -

I had a customer bring in his old Molten Brown Bottle and sat it next to the Malt & Whyte and it was identical.
He was convinced it was made in the same factory and the same bottle and ingredients and flavour.
I was inclined to agree, too similar and fraction of the price.“Official Company Representative

If you compare the ingredients, you will see that Molton Brown contains a myriad of botanical extracts, whereas Baylis and Harding is pure chemicals. Smells like it, too.
I can't believe they are allowed to get away with this. Surely packaging comes under intellectual property? How can they even call the bodywash 'black pepper and ginseng' when (according to the list of ingredients) there is no black pepper or ginseng in it?0 -
Everything in the world is 'pure chemicals'.0

 I dont get why Molton browns products are soo expensive..
I got some of their bubble bath (coco de mer) .. and used it.. but the fragrance didn`t linger afterwards.. like it would when I use Lush or Bodyshop products.. can someone please explain why they charge so much.. as I am not seeing the fascination for them.. but I normally love luxury bath products!0 -
I don't get this brand either, a friend gave me a tiny shower gel to try, some peppery fragrance i think, it stank, i went straight back to dove.....0
