No, it's not normal for any site to ask for your online banking details.
Do you really have to ask?0 -
It is normal if you choose to use Skrill Direct - see the link posted earlier.
That may well be their MO but it's not normal for me to disclose my UID and password to any third party. I seem to recall that my banks warn me against giving this info to others.
Out of interest, what's the compelling reason for using Skrill, rather than credit/debit card or PayPal?0 -

I've used cdkeys many a time and not once have I been asked for my username and password for online banking.
I've paid by debit card and paypal and its all been OK.0 -

Surely using/disclosing a password for other than access to your account actually cancels any protection you may have from the site. Or is quite frankly a no no. It would certainly be against anything I have ever seen. You never, ever let someone else have your password. That is basic security.0

as a bank employee, if you disclose this information you are no longer covered for reimbursement as you have provided the information and thus put any money at risk.
never provide any details about online passwords or log in details, I would change these details asap.
Im regard to the sort code and account number dont worry about this, this is the same details that you send on every cheque you send, so this information is out in the public domain everyday and with this information not much can be done, but along with your online details you are at risk of someone setting up standing orders or transferring all of your funds out.
never used the website mentioned I stick to Paypal whom have my sort code and account number but not the pan number of the card.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Did anyone actually bother to read the link?0

Yeah, I didn't put in my online banking details - I stopped at that point, so they don't have them. It should be fine by the sound of it then0
