Using up my credit on PAYG

Hi, I am changing mobile phone providers, this will change over in two days, I have £8.00 credit left on my phone that I cannot carry over, has anyone any ideas I can use it up on. Thanks

if you make international calls, you could use up £5 to purchase a £5 calling card by text message, then use the credit from your new provider (with a PIN if you're changing phone number) - See below

If you have kids you could use it to buy them credit on certain site like Habbo Hotel or Runescape etc.

If you're interested in voice over internet calls, or other facilities on their accounts, you can subscribe to a Betamax VoIP account by premium text message

You don't get the full amount though - £5 gets you €4.50 credit, but all premium text services are like this, and vat has been taken out too.

JustVoip has the cheapest rate to UK mobiles, at 5 cents a minute, and there is a callthough access number, and sms callback too. Or DialNow has half-cent rates to quite a few countries' landlines. You can register your new phone number to use these facilities; the old (subscribing) one isn't tracked.
