I have Quicken 2004 on my W7 PC
I have backups on 2 external hard drives and the cloud.
It's really good and have been using it for over 12 years.
Thought about going to Quick Books and called up- got UK sales and when I asked a technical question was put through to overseas and they guy couldn't understand that I had Q 2004 and was asking about importing files.
Let call go and decided not to go with Intuit - really do not want to deal with people overseas if they are useless.baldly going on...0 -

As Intuit have started advertising their QuickBooks on major TV channels will they ever issue Quicken to the UK general public again?
Do they still market it in USA?
Please, please, please give us non-commercial users an update! Mine seems to be pausing sometimes...
Still sold in the US and Canada. I'm using Q2015 in the UK, it works fine without the online features (no banking or investment downloads, have to input everything manually, but I think that's the same for XG/2004 now?).
You just have to enable multicurrency support and set the default currency as UK Pounds in the preferences before creating any Sterling accounts. Converting a UK/XG data file isn't straightforward or supported though. I managed it, but I'm fairly computer literate, it took quite a lot of work and a fair amount of cleaning up and tweaking records.0 -
Another one who still uses Quicken 98 on Windows 7 and would be lost without it.
I think it is also still marketed in Australia. Thought of trying to get an updated copy there but while Q98 still works with Windows, I'll stay with that version.
Always amazed they stopped marketing it in the UK as so much better than any other I tried.0
