the delivery driver and tesco will be responsible for this act of stupidity. Mine usually throw any parcels over my 8 foot gate. anything breakable just smashes, its ridiculous. last week they left a book over the gate, it was raining and we had no card delivered to say it was outside. it was ruined.Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 20160

I've been checking for answers for my problem and whilst doing so I read something that said if you haven't asked them to leave your parcel in a safe place then they are completely at fault. So your delivery card is proof of where they left it. IT also referred to drivers leaving parcels with neighbours who then don't pass it on to you it said if you hadn't listed 'leave with a neighbour ' then the courier is completely at fault.0

I've had this done to myself, luckily it was the day before the collection so I managed to get it in time but if I'd been away for the day I'd be stuffed.0 -
Yes completely agree. Only an absolute idiot who think of putting it in a bin0

My council would never empty my bin if i didn't put it out. Why did yours ?0

I'm sure the OP can't answer that unless the bin man left him a note to say why he was kind.
A few times in the past my I have forgotten to wheel my bin to the end of the path and when I got home it was emptied. Not sure if it was my neighbours or the bin men0
