    Oh I forgot about pets:rotfl:

Yes I know penguin, pigeon, canary and budgie but not heron:o

Oh I once spotted that one with a coat hanger hook on his head:o
I only know a heron because it keeps trying to pinch the fish out of the pond. Also flamingo. We all know those.
editing to add turkey, owls & ducks. We are bird experts really.

Is there some other kind of abuse that would be appropriate?

As if that makes any difference:rotfl:. Especially as the OP was quoted later. As for "greedy fruitcakes", that is just plain bemusing:rotfl:. I think I prefer the original:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::naughty:.

And as for "total twits", it's still not acceptable to call someone - maybe a stranger to you whom you've not met in RL - a "total twit". So, that bit is still "abusive". As is my quote of it. Both allegedly. Anyway, I just found "total twits" very funny - presumably evidence that it is, therefore, inappropriate!(:rotfl:)

I don't know - what is "abuse"? I'd normally connect "abuse" to things like child abuse - either sexual abuse or beating someone black and blue. Yet things that aren't as severe as that are also called "abuse". I don't really see that something is "abuse", of me, if it isn't personally directed at me and if, whether it is or isn't, I laugh out loud at it. That is obviously "abuse" isn't it if something makes me laugh? Yet terms of abuse may not necessarily be abusive. Perhaps I like being abused - or, in fact of course, not like being abused but like things that are called abuse in situations in which they do not actually abuse me. "Abuse" means a mistreatment of someone. But what is "mis"treatment?

I guess this is the usual Asperger's of not knowing something intuitively and immediately, but instead having to work it out following definitions that aren't consistent or standing back and looking at it objectively and finding that different people express different views on a matter, so I don't know which of them to accept or not.

I don't know what is abuse - does it mean, or include, making someone feel anxiety or causing someone offence or a negative emotion? Maybe that is a mistreatment of someone. I had a song in the shop today where a word of racial connotations was changed in sound but I could still hear something so close to parts of a phoneme of the word and to me that's the same thing - it just makes it sound slightly more potentially annoying. (It depends on whether someone physically gets me or not as to whether it does.)

It caused me quite a bit of anxiety. I did mention what had happened at the till and asked for an apology which I got. However, the apology seemed automatically delivered, just said in a normal tone and didn't seem genuine or reflect any feeling that they actually felt for me. Whilst it didn't compound anything, it didn't do anything at all. Unfortunately I felt quite anxious since in the earlier part of this afternoon. I couldn't think straight at the time and it had me rubbing my legs later on when I got back home. Yes it did make me feel anxiety after it had happened, so that that would be a "mistreatment" of me and, therefore, even though it is not directed at me and despite the alteration, it is still offensive and, as it is a "mistreatment" of me, and not what I want to be caused to experience, playing that song in public around me therefore does amount to "abuse". I shouldn't have to experience something that causes me to feel anxiety or not real upset but I wasn't happy about it - I felt there was no need for the song - it wasn't acceptable - it actually helped us save money though as I was then unable to look for another piece of additional clothing that I might otherwise have bought - we've got enough to be acceptable but an extra piece would have been good - but was unable to do so because I was then distracted away from my shopping, couldn't think straight and had to sit down for a few minutes and didn't feel like shopping after that and it was getting close to closing (half an hour away) but my heart in the shopping all lost:(.

It's not right that I should be diverted onto such things and caused to be unable to continue shopping because of things like that or because shops can't be bothered to choose acceptable songs or the alterations that record companies or other people make to them do not make them appropriate or acceptable - indeed, it admits it's own wrong and it sounds like the word that it means. The people that knock up these versions of songs don't seem to listen to the resulting material that they have produced - they just seem to assume that changing some sound will be okay as opposed to making it even more unacceptable to me. They do not remove or avoid the language, instead they merely change it in sound and they actively choose to put that altered sound into the version that they have chosen to play. Anyway, I'm alright now (as in physical emotion even though I still think that specific, individual part of the song should not have been played - the part where the replacement sound used instead of the unaltered sound of the word is, as I find the replacement sound offensive because of its meaning and so close - and it causes me concern - I felt they was no need for it, do I need to have altered sound of a racially offensive word, the most offensive word in the English language, played to me?) - I didn't feel right before, it was a mistreatment and therefore abuse of me that I should not have to encounter in such a place where I am merely attempting to carry on reasonable and legal normal life activities or maybe it would be called "recreation", such as shopping, but instead to be made anxious like that. And I don't want to be treated that way - hear a song in public that causes me offence or a problem or any negative issue in any way - so it is disrespectful to me too.
