I just looked out the window and I can't believe how light it still is :D

Your joking, it has been pitch black here for about an hour :o

Cant wait for the nights to start getting lighter, seems much easier to get things done

I had a nice new cushion for Christmas. It looks like I won't get much opportunity to use it. She sits and stares at the stag for a few minutes before settling down to sleep :D

  • I've seen a few to be honest. A few years ago we stayed in Skipton for new year and everyday we walked along the canal there was one there. As we caught up with it it would fly to the next tree. Last year we went to Skipton for a weekend and for nostalgia we walked through the woods and couldn't believe our eyes when we saw a kingfisher. Beautiful birds but very fast I've also seen lots of blue flashes that have gone before I've focused on them!

It is very gradually getting lighter at night - my chickens are going to bed a few minutes later every day :)

Good evening, re the indestructible dog toys, Max can destroy a tennis ball in a day but dd bought him one of these and he's had it since November and still pretty much intact, and not for the want of trying as he loves it and plays with it everyday
