When I posted this morning Zippy, it had populated.

Just gone back to check, and missing for me too.

It was missing yesterday (probably not much help) but I didnt see/notice a good comparison so didnt post it. x

when i 1st seen your warning, it was populated now its not im puzzled. i would try it but against morry is too risky i feel.

Remember, whether it is showing or not now is (almost) irrelevant - it is what it was showing n APGland that is important and that was locked in earlier today ... the challenge is knowing exactly what that price was and what time it locked in :D.

Our neighbours have told us about a series of house burglaries......4 houses broken into at night while the occupiers were asleep:eek:

I'm just thinking about a weapon of choice to take to bed with me. :rotfl:

What are your thoughts on a dry powder fire extinguisher? I obviously don't want to blind anyone or ruin my carpets:o But would you consider it to be a useful deterrent?
Or do you think I would struggle with the pin trigger thing in the heat of the moment?

And then there's the issue of disguising it in the bedroom:o

Would a golf club be a more sensible idea?

I did a self defence course for women once and it was suggested to keep a heavy object such as a glass paperweight by the bed ready to throw through the window to attract attention if you felt threatened. The idea being that people are more likely to help if property is being threatened rather than life!:(

Does anyone know how the Lidl tea bags compare to the S basics ones?

Thinking of trying Lidl tomorrow but never had them before.

I was wondering the same. I notice tesco basics are 0.5p each but when I tried them a few years back they were nowhere as good as sainsbury basic. Is this a weekend offer for the teabags please?

I got one box of these this morning to try. They are the Red Label ones, I tried them and the tea is nice, I would say on par with the S basics ones :)

:( Not sure of much help but I remember a cosmo article in 80's (more for if you are out and about) but spraying aerosols near nose and mouth (spraying into eyes too hit and miss apparently). Should have them choking and finding it hard to breathe. Use for the brown impulse maybe :rotfl:
Other stuff was for close up but all could be legally used ie keys hold and jab in eye or nose soft tissue. Umbrella don't swing but shove in groin area.

Maybe save up for burglar alarm that you can set while you are in and then remember to do so... A target for wombled apgs :)
Tape recoding of dog sounds best bet till then.
