Free little dish with coupon, to be used at Tesco. One per person per transaction, otherwise would have been a nice earner v asda as 3 for £5 in asda, £2.50 in tesco

I thought the dishwasher had broken. Had water in the bottom of it this morning. Turns out DS1 opened the door to switch it off mid cycle as the noise was disturbing him! Didn't think to tell anyone!

    Annoying isn't it

It's like in the outside world they are young responsible professional adults but as soon as they get home they revert back to the aggravating unthinking teenager phase oblivious to the chaos they leave in their wake

My youngest decided to wrap a parcel this morning, successfully located the whereabouts of the silver poly bags, parcel tape, scissors, cello tape dispenser and labels - all in the usual places where they have always been
Then off he went to the post office and what do I find - poly bags, labels, parcel tape, cellotape dispenser, scissors all strewn around the dining room as it's expected that I will follow him around and clear up after him

He is having to sleep in the boys room which he himself has made unfit for human habitation now and it will be months before I summon up the energy to start restoring it to some sort of order.

I can't even moan at him - only here for a few days

    Afternoon all

Seen GP this morning and thankfully there was nothing obviously nasty on chest xray. She's still not happy with my breathing and the frequency of chest infections so I'm being referred to the respiratory clinic. Have my 6 month follow up appt next month too so will get that Cons input.

Been and picked up my Ts direct order and had a mooch around. Too early and far too busy for decent reductions. Had more chocolates RTC but I managed to resist them as I really don't need any more.

Off to bed now as starting nights tonight. Hope you all have a fab New Year if I don't get back on before

This is good that there is nothing on the chest x ray, I suppose they will keep trying different anti biotics at different levels until one finally works

For anyone with an XBox, there are some good deals on the XBox marketplace for XBox 360 (possibly One too - haven't checked that) including many of the Lego games reduced (digital download). Lego the Movie Game is currently £6.24 (£8.74 w/o Live discount), Lord of The Rings, Batman, Batman 2 are £3.74 (£5.24 w/o Live discount).

I see on HUKD there are instructions for how to purchase games cheaper using overseas marketplace (for anyone with a XBox One - apparently doesn't work with existing XBox 360 accounts as you have to change the region): http://www.hotukdeals.com/misc/xbox-one-buying-from-colombia-guide-works-for-regions-2326463

Please can I ask did anyone do the Nationwide rewards offer before Christmas - spend £100 on Amazon get £25 in cashback? And if so how long did it take for your cashback to appear on your account?

I got £100 e gift card on the 15th but no £25 credit has appeared.

I contacted nationwide but they said it could take up to 5 days but that only takes it to the 20th. Someone on PTS this morning said they did 3 transactions on 3 accounts and their £25s appeared immediately

I've sent messages via visa offers twice with no reply or even an acknowledgment

This morning they said that if the money does not go in before 5 today to contact again - I assume that means that the day time twitter team are going home at that time so I can then bother the evening shift instead :(

Just going to check my spam account - on sky emails you need to log onto the main website to see your spam - although I doubt if any messages have gone there

  • Tweets, your mum sounds very much like mine was. Especially with the business over the meat coupon. Some people just don't realise what kind and caring daughters they have, I'm afraid.

We know you're lovely. And so does Poppy. xx
