Holy Cow, just got an Uncle Bulgaria, womble :j for £37.82 from 24th Dec, just found..Total Receipt was for £166.88 cash

    Here's your voucher for £37.82Why £37.82?

We don't like being beaten on price. That's why, if we're not 10% cheaper than Here's your voucher for £37.82Why £37.82?

The cost of your shop at Asda was: £108.51 £104.88 £48.14 £28.40
The competitor cost would have been: £78.55 £83.20 £46.89 £32.87

    To be 10% cheaper Asda needed to be: £70.69 £74.88 £42.20 £29.58
Compared to the 10% cheaper price
    £37.82 more

Going to be fun spending that :D

    Gosh- have fun:)

I remember Gateway. We used to have loads of different chains. Waitrose and Sainsburys used to be very southern but are now all over the north and probably Scotland too.

I find nobody in London seems familiar with B&M and Home Bargains. Can't wait for that to change.

Ooh Gateway. Yes I remember one of those too. And a Kwik Save. And I think another one called Grandways.

I'm so out of the loop with this stuff :o I used a £9 odd APG today. it scanned ok but the SA still had to scan my receipt too. I had no problems but I did note the absence of asking me if I wanted my receipt back.

DS2 wombled a £12 odd receipt today. it was a few days old and had comfort and baileys on it. wasn't yours was it squigs? :p :rotfl::rotfl:

yes the way to do it now is to scan the receipt as well. but if they dont scan the bc numbers can be entered.

it has crossed my mind that we can get away without a receipt on ss.
if someone on here does post their bc numbers to be checked on here, you CAN actually print the apg off and enter them numbers on ss.

    that hurts my head :o

DS2 wants to buy a set of headphones with his womble.

I had my best buys at tesco express this year

    Jaffa yards £1.25
    Maltesers crackers £1.25
    foxes biscuit tins £2.00
    Cadbury biscuit tins £2.25
    tesco shortbread tins (YUM) £1.50
    wispa long packs £1
    Cadbury mini roll crackers £1
buttons and minstrels square tubes 37p
    cadburys selection boxes 37p
    rowntrees tubes 50p
    Lynx sets £1.62

also all those red packs of savoury snacks were half price or less. Crackers were £2 and £2.50 I didn't buy these.

My favourite fuzzy felt was fuzzy felt ballet. I loved it. I always fancied ballet but my body let me down :rotfl::rotfl:

Full receipt for you Scamps, was the Champagne that did it.

That's unusual! We weren't the cheapest this time

We want you to be 10% better off at Asda, so there's a voucher for you below.
