    What about Bejams? :o I remember going there when I was a young un

    I remember as a liitle girl we ordered a freezer but my dad had to go and pick it up from orton Longville near Peterborough over an hours drive away:eek:
    ..but the freezer a small chest one kept going for nearly 30 years

    We had Bratt and Dykes in Stafford but my mother never took us there, too expensive.
    She took us to C&As in Wolverhampton and I am assuming we went on the train - I never knew why we never went to Birmingham

    Brentford nylons yuk yuk yuk- mum bought some bri-nylon fitted sheets from there, no ironing:) but oh dear if you had any dry skin or rough nails you stuck to the sheets,
    I don't what was better nylon sheets or cotton sheets that had been machined side to middle to get extra wear out of them:eek:
