Hello everyone just popping in for coffee and perhaps a glass of wine later:)
The toothpaste for kiddies is still a good one v A +cos I went to Mr T today and bought some:D
There was about 20 of the garnier @ £5 on the shelf
Several items in the gift section scanned lower than the sel, but the manager at my T was clearing all the gift packs of drink he said ready for new year! we bought the last 2 gift packs of 4 bottles of beer for £2.40 then everything was whisked away:eek:
So we used the last of the barilla, toothpaste, macain wedges, reduced cheese gift packs with biscuits chutney and cidre in, reduced desserts for a £4 off wys £40 with various coupons inc T own off dairy + cheese, + cos the £53 shop was down to £19 -:)
Snowman cheesecake in freezer ready for next xmas:rotfl:

diluvsdiscounts wrote: »If I buy a present that has come from a glitch I would still spend the amount I would normally spend but it would just look like an over generous present. People know me and know I like a bargain. I always buy a Christmas present for my friend who is/was my hairdresser. We never exchange very expensive presents usually around £10 but this year she got a bottle of lanson I am certain she will know it has been bought on a deal and not cost £20.
But if you enter into a £30 secret Santa then I'm afraid I believe you should spend the full £30. Is it worth naming and shaming her though? Maybe next year you could say that you don't want to take part because last year the top you received didn't fit you and when you tried to change it for the right size you couldn't because they no longer stocked it so they told you to pick something else to the same value which unfortunately was £1.99.
Is this SIL the one that fills her boots on the family Christmas meal? If so it speaks volumes.
I would see this £30 limit as a challenge to get the most impressive biggest collection of things for £30 eg- Harrods £15 bag plus contents“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
