Taking a delivery of that which is still frozen to a friend's house tonight, she has a spare freezer and mine does keep it well frozen quite a long time after it has gone wrong. DD took some to hers last night.
I am trying to figure out how to phrase the complaint letter that is going out to Hotpoint and John Lewis after it has been fixed again. I am absolutely disgusted at the trouble I have had with it, it should last 10 years plus, can't see that happening at the moment. As for how long it took me to get through to the service department at Hotpoint and the length of time it is taking them to get out to a freezer over the Christmas period, that is entirely another thing. Last time it needed a spare part and that took another two weeks too.
Needless to say, they will know what I think of them.
That sounds like a right moan, I know there is people far worse off, but I am totally Pd off with them, sorry
Whilst it is unfortunate that your freezer went down over Christmas, hotpoint and JL would have limited cover over xmas, their staff deserve time with their families too!
saw this and thought of you xx
"Dear John Lewis,
Just who do you think you are? Whilst all the other shops were open, convincing people to spend money they don't have on things they don't nee...d, some of them from as early as 6 am, you have the audacity to be closed on boxing day, allowing your employees to spend time with their families at Christmas?! Ridiculous. Shameless.
Of course I'm teasing. I think it's absolutely wonderful that you don't allow the crass commercialisation of Christmas to deprive your staff of a two uninterrupted days with their families. Because Christmas isn't about getting up at 5am to open up shop for a January sale that inexplicably starts on the 26th of December. It isn't about getting a new television with a marginally improved functionality over the one you already have. It's certainly not about queuing outside the jewellery store like it's a ride at Disney Land.
It's about feeling a bit sick after eating one too many mince pies, being woken up at 5am by an excitable toddler and most importantly of all, having a lie in and a cup of tea on boxing day morning.
Please never change! Unless it's to be closed Christmas eve as well... But one step a time aye?
Your loyal customer and adopted father of one of your fine washing machines.

The reductions in our tesco just before Christmas were not so good but it was awesome today. Just like tinyshoes and jumblejack I need to think space before I buy! But I get so excited in the heat of the
moment that I get carried away. I cannot fit any more in my freezer and both my ds and dd also had good hauls at Mr. T today so no room there! I could not leave the 3 for £10 packs of meat that were paying 20p to take them away so have 3 left in the fridge with meals already planned with other things for the next 3 days! The fruit and veg was also 2p 3p and 5p. I have now got to resist going for the next few days - easier said than done. I probably need help!0 -

That was me with the chocolate earlier, I got carried away.
In my defence I was good and not buy any chocolate before xmas until those Thorntons mints on xmas eve that are £2 box. And I have given 3 of those away already.
I am going to be mad with myself if any of it does make it to 1p,They seem to have done 75% RTCs very early this year.
Was it last year that they caught us by surprise and put everything to 1p the first week in January?
(ETA: by "last year" I meant "this year")
