    Hi Rhos
    Glad everyone is safe:T
    Well done on your pies:T:T:T
Shame youngsters dont know about these things:(

Thanks, boys love pies so its a good way to use leftovers and they are there for when I am working for a quick tea. i agree their familys obviously dont go shopping at the right times, 3p bags of donuts and cookies may have convinced them to go again.

Wow, those pies sound fantastic rhosynbach. Such a lovely feeling knowing you've got all that food safely stashed away.

    :)

Off to my DSs today for Christmas dinner, I prepped all the veg here last night (vegetable hamper bingo prize) & they collected on way back from Parents.
Mum has rang, to say they are having trouble with a 'bully' nurse who is insisting Dad is incontinent :(:(:(
My sister over heard yesterday & confronted her, which has escalated to a senior nurse speaking with Mum.
My Dad knows when he needs a wee, but needs time to prepare as he has to use his left hand (being right handed) but when he calls for a nurse, they don't come or ignore him & he ends up wetting himself :(:(:(

    We need him home :)

Oh snap I feel for your dad. Mine was lucky if he needed help I don't think he too finger off buzzer at all. Could your dad have a pot thing left nearby if that would help.
We found dad had an abundance of staff at Christmas, so much so he almost had his own personal assistant.
Yes you need him home but with that comes other strains. Maybe if your mum starts helping him with the wee situation in the hospital she will get more of an idea of what will be needed at home.

At the end of the day you are right he is not incontinent as that would be if he didn't know he needed to go or in fact wet himself.

Your dad has bought you girls up to be strong enough to stand up for him. You know him best.

Big Hugs I hope your parents haven't found the last few days too hard.

    Good evening Elite.

My friend is after a new laptop around the £250 mark. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

You should have been around on black friday when harryhfp found us all a deal on tesco direct for £179.

I've set it up now, added chrome and word 2007. Haven't told DS1, but I do think it is a slow processor. maybe Windows 10 takes a lot of power.

Well as unpopular as it might seem you are the top of my popular list for being there for me all the way through the hard time I've been having lately. we didn't skate on thin ice by doing it on here, but you deserve a public flogging for it anyway.

I hope no one takes this the wrong way but all the warnings about skating on thin ice are keeping people from posting. if someone posts something that gets them in trouble it's on them to deal with. We are all grown up enough that we don't need people to tell us what we can and can't post. if we get in trouble for posting a bad thing we are old enough to deal with the consequences :) that's just my opinion
