Actually I was in the dog house last week for buying that 60 profiterole kit. We never even started on it but I did read the profiteroles could be frozen when I opened the big box couple of days after, they were in two smaller boxes so one box is inside and one out. Taking up valuable meat space really.
Could really have used the space and got some beef mince yesterday.......
I picked up one of those yesterday for 15p. I've frozen the profiteroles & the 2 pots of sauce hoping they'll be OK to eat later. I'm presuming the golden shapes will keep for ages. I also got a large fresh cream Xmas log for 6p. I've cut through it in its packet & put baking parchment between the pieces so I can remove a small piece at a time. There's only 2 of us so we can have some if we like or take out more if we've guests. Mind you only cut into 3 pieces so will probably get eaten quite quickly!0 -
