I know it's easy after the event, but thinking back, maybe the B00ts trick would have been to register a new account to collect and spend the glitchy points. I may have done that if I had thought about it at the time.

What about the advantage card to match it? Might not have been quite that simple unfortunately.

Do you have a tablet ? Try downloading it on that. By doing that you could a) run the app on the tablet and b) it would then be on your Play account so it may then allow you to re-dowload to your phone.

What phone do you have, as you might be able to easily unlock it ?

I do have a tablet, tried that, still won't let me do it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, but fairly sure unlocking it voids the warranty? Two years warranty is worth a fair bit.
