Morning all. Hope everyone is well.
Seen photos of Kirkstall Road & Royal Amories and all looks underwater I'm sorry to say. Hope ds manages to get about xx
Thanks to you and streetlights. DS works and lives in the Clarence Dock area so is likely to be affected in one way or another.
A terrible terrible time for so many people.
Devastating at any time but more so at Christmas.....a time when families look forward to bring together and instead are being ripped apart and possibly homeless. My heart goes out to all of them. A time to fill our foodbanks......they are going to be stretched to their limit:(To do is to be. Rousseau

Morning everyone. ope everyone is safe, healthy and enjoying the festivities. I had a quick trip to the sales yesterday. Did not need much but got my cards for next year, some bits for DDs stocking next year and loads of biscuits - Victoria large boxes for £2 in asda - putting away for Easter. Mostly paid with wombles
.
Off to Panto today then expect everyone will descend back to our house for tea so off to make TM's Toblerone cheesecake & bake some scones.
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.
It must be toblerone cheesecake Day....I'm on with one too:DTo do is to be. Rousseau

Good morning all, what a grey day.
Taking a delivery of that which is still frozen to a friend's house tonight, she has a spare freezer and mine does keep it well frozen quite a long time after it has gone wrong. DD took some to hers last night.
I am trying to figure out how to phrase the complaint letter that is going out to Hotpoint and John Lewis after it has been fixed again. I am absolutely disgusted at the trouble I have had with it, it should last 10 years plus, can't see that happening at the moment. As for how long it took me to get through to the service department at Hotpoint and the length of time it is taking them to get out to a freezer over the Christmas period, that is entirely another thing. Last time it needed a spare part and that took another two weeks too.
Needless to say, they will know what I think of them.
That sounds like a right moan, I know there is people far worse off, but I am totally Pd off with them, sorryWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning everyone hope you are all managing to keep dry. just seen DS1 off after being with us for 10 days so feeling a bit sad this morning - he's been living away for quite a while now but always feel really sad when he goes back. Take care all and hug those near to you x0
