Good afternoon Elite :santa2:
Wow, how windy it is today  just as well I got my washing done yesterday. Can you believe it, before the 20 minutes was up yesterday, the wind got up and blew 2 sheets loose on the line. Luckily they hung by one peg on each of them, so brought them in and got them ironed and into the airing cupboard.
Just as I came home today my neighbour stopped me for a chat. It seems that Christmas Eve we can expect gale force winds  I haven't checked so can't confirm
My boots came today, well 4 pairs. I can't believe the quality of them for what we paid. They will see me out I'm sure, mind you I'm not keeping them allI am letting the boys girlfriends have a pick of them.
Got to dash out again xThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

Lots of moments on the shelf but mine were subbed for the gold wrapped Thornton box :T these only showed up when I was signed into My account so thought it might not work .
There are quite a few of the chocolates going RTC instore so it is worth checking that aisle and we can then work out any good deals like you have found above.
Last year it included Toblerone and Quality Street (Christmas or Easter? Or maybe more than once? They worked out around free and they were still in date for presents for teachers this Christmas anyway, as we have only just cleared that particularly stash ).

Sorry I don't know but I have noticed we have been missing quite a number of Elite for a number of weeks - I did check back but couldn't see any major falling out to prompt a walk out, but maybe any offending messages were deleted.
Hopefully as Christmas is a time of peace and goodwill to all men, women and anonymous Elite members, lurking Elite and new will feel able come back out of the shadows to join in.

Haven't seen any major falling outs. Maybe the splinter group recently set up has decided to stay just that ? C'est la vie !0 -

Wonders out loud if M0ndelez listened to public feedback and have returned to the original/traditional recipe for C4dbury's cream eggs this year, or if they have stuck with the inferior recipe introduced last year ...

Good afternoon everyone.fairclaire wrote: »And to round off the night with a smile. My DS2 has told the special needs co-ordinater at school that his mum has been riding a bike to help with her cancer treatment
I think I've said before the last bike I sat on was my beloved chopper around 1976 :rotfl::rotfl:
His radar picked up on the fact I'm having 'cycles'. In his head I'm on a bike riding my way out of the cancer. I love itI want ribbons on my handles this time though and maybe some of those clicky things on my wheels

My boots have just arrived and I am quite impressed. They cost me £16.93 and I got 93p TCB so works out at about £2.30 a pair. I will definitely get that much wear out of them. My godmother sent me some money for Christmas and I'm tempted to line all seven pairs up and whattsap her a picture and tell her I've still got change to spend haha.
I also collected the Tresor perfume yesterday from boots and its gorgeous. I was going to give them as birthday presents in January but now I'm keeping one and DD can have the other one.
Just waiting from the chimnea to arrive and then I'm done:j:j:j
My chiminea has just arrived, its actually a present for my mum and dad, as they keep trying to pinch mine out the garden.

Good Afternoon :santa2:
What a miserable one it is, we've had really bad wind and rain nearly all day:eek:
I need the help of the elite ...pretty please
What do you buy as a Christmas present for a 80 year old woman who hardly eats enough to feed a mouse, doesn't go anywhere, has no interests in anything...and says flowers give her a head ache!!
I'm super stuck!! Last year it was a silk scarf and an amaryllis the same as the year before and a calendar, which shed guessed by poking at the wrapping even before Christmas eve
I was wondering if you can buy really big print word searches anywhere? Or if the experienced elite had any other suggestions?
Thank you my lovely's0 -
Cadbury's chocolate tastes so greasy now, I don't know if it has lots of palm oil in it or what, but I miss the sort of dry aftertaste you used to get with it.
For block/bar milk chocolate, I now tend to buy Tesco own brand Fairtrade at about 75p for 100g. It tastes more like chocolate should, and leaves no greasy residue.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Does anyone know what courier delivered the boots.
I have had one pair delivered out of three , it says on the label 1 of 2 parcels but no sign of the other one and no courier name to contact.
The boots I did get are really nice though. Thanks.0 -
Yes , Paddy had a great life and thank you all for for your lovely comments.
As harryhfp says, I do have to move on.
Do I give another rescue dog a good home?
