  • I had Cadbury creme eggs last week and there'll be hell to pay if there isn't at least one in my Christmas stocking

The girl in the shop last night actually said "hot cross buns" like she was checking my shopping :rotfl:

I have a friend who has them all year round, just seems a bit of an anathema to me. Don't get me wrong, I like them, but I think I enjoy them better for just having them at Easter :)

I can't remember when shops started selling them all year round, but pretty sure you couldn't get them any other time than Easter 20 years ago :)

I swear creme eggs taste better at Christmas :rotfl: you can only get them in the shops between December and after Easter.

My birthday (as does yours too I think!) falls at Easter quite often and when I was little, rellies who were elderly back then used to give me Easter eggs for my birthday, which is why I think I prefer to have them for Christmas instead :o:)

I will always remember a birthday present my then best friend bought me when I was 7, it was (as it seemed then) a beautifully decorated Easter egg with my own name on it. I was really impressed and utterly delighted, it did get eaten though :D
