Forgot to mention, I had an email from Papa Johns Pizza yesterday. Go through Quidco and place an online order for at least £10, get £10 cash back. Available until 24 December.
Eta: new quidco members only. Maybe about time Jasmine joined.

One of our chip shops closed and in its place we now have a Papa John - I missed all the previous exciting offers as our next nearest was 15 miles down the motorway

So I am waiting for an exciting offer to happen

I have spent this morning sorting out the stationery drawer

Years of envelopes, cracker toys, perished rubbers, dried up pens, broken rulers, Snoopy writing paper & these...

Please can I ask can I freeze peppers?

In mr !!!!!! this mornin in the reduced veg section I found 3 yellow peppers for 15p each - a few wrinkles.
I did pasta bake last night so I can't do it again tonight without raising suspicions :)
That had a wrinkled red pepper in
    No one died

In fact last nights pasta bake was a bit if an experiment. Previous pasta bakes I thought I probably cooked too much - only 2 of us after all. So I put in slightly less Barilla pasta - less than the reccomend portion size on the bag.
I could not put my usual courgette in as the one in the fridge had gone furry
    - can you freeze thin slices of courgette?
The main difference was that I only used one chicken breast and not the usual 2
On the plate the ammount of food looked no different and no complaints from OH
Previous pasta bakes have always seemed to have too much meat in them - out of proportion to the vegetables and pasta
    Experiment a success

    It works fine

Buy £50 to get the extra 150 points (not Tesco giftcard)

Find the T catalogues x2 to get another 200 points p103 coupon

Thanks Harry. I am struggling to know what other giftcards to buy after having given nephews and nieces book tokens for Christmas!! But it is great to know that I can use the T conditional spend with a T giftcard, even if I don't get those extra CC points. Bring back 3V I say! Or add Amazon ones to the mix...

My daughters husband's brother is running the marathon for 2nd time this year to raise funds for the Leonard Cheshire home. He held a fund raising evening last night. I donated 42 bottles Cidre for the bar and went to sell raffle tickets. it was a lovely evening and as they have 3 little girls it was very child orientated with face painting a kids disco and a make your own Xmas crown competition.
I won 2 prizes in the draw. A £25 vouchers for a local jeweller and a £20.00 voucher for a framed pic from a local photographer. There was also a picture quiz that i won too and got a nice Waitrose box of Xmas goodies. Was glad to put Cidre to good use and still have plenty for Xmas He raised just under £1000.00

    :T:T:T:T well done

    I read the dibb too!

SSM, wondering how you got on yesterday doing your "christmas in a day" shopping?

I suppose I ought to think about getting in the shower and getting dressed! :D
First day in a few that I haven't woken up to a wet bed so making the most of it by slobbing around in my pj's. Unfortunately I didn't get much sleep though, as every time I turned over I seemed to wake up and was constantly checking for wet patches.:o

Yayyy:T:T:T hope this is on the mend now then, but i see where your coming from keep waking up:(
