Quite funny, talking about nectar. I keep loading up my card with the 300 points when you spend £15. I never spend it, and I thought it was not valid for petrol, but it appears on my account when OH fills up with petrol.

Thank you very much for this! Now I know where some of my points have come from as I did the 10x points for petrol twice last weekend so used my conditional spend points offer. Buying petrol, often cheapest at S in my area, is therefore the best way of getting these extra points.

So have I!! Every time I see a nice one I ask myself sternly where would I use it...

Am keeping a look out for the posh tins which I gather some port comes in at the moment. Can't remember details but they are bottle shaped tins in vibrant colours.

Please can I ask has anyone any experience of skyscanner

"Tickets are booked but on the confirmation email its saying
You must purchase your ticket until 11:00 21.DecemberMANCHESTER local time. The reservation will be automatically cancelled if you do not purchase your ticket within the time limit."

but when log on it says

    Office/Travel agency booking/reservation made through : INTERNET
    •Status
    HK - Confirmed

so it looks like its been confirmed by the agent but the airline don't have the money yet - is that correct? I've checked his online banking and no payment showing yet and he did say his card was playing up.

so now I don't know if he has paid or not

    no e tickets yet either

we went direct through the airline last time and everything went through straight away

Just to say to those struggling that as I read I was full of admiration at how you are coping. Remembering you in my prayer.

Really sorry, but though I use SkyScanner to search for flights, I always book via the airline itself. I am sure someone else will come along who can help. Or can you email them?

I would also like to have a rant about Tesco direct now - I know they must lurk hereabouts so I hope they are reading this

I should by now have a real Christmas tree blocking the view to the TV having picked up the over priced stand this afternoon but at about 1 they decided to email me and say it will now be 3 on Saturday afternoon

so the tree is still stood in a bucket of water

I have to be in 2 separate towns tomorrow or at least one depending on how difficult the list is by the morning and now I also have to go our nearest Tesco on a Saturday afternoon and I hate the town this Tesco is in

the worst of it is that they have taken the money out all ready :(
