  • Started issuing the cidres - a couple of bottles of these and a large pack of Tyrrells Sea Salt and Cider Vinegar crisps packed together in a largish gift bag are being received really well as seasonal thank-you gifts to various tradesmen. I'm using the non-flavoured cidres for these and they do look nice.

DD's had all the raspberry ones and now wishes she'd tried them earlier when I could have obtained more of them!

Somehow I still have more than a dozen bottles left but they'll keep for the first barbecue of 2016.

So I bought an extra chair from Ikea so we could sit on our armchairs

(far chair has Bryn black cat on it)

So today we rearranged room to put sofa back & cats & chairs are away from TV...

    Will it work? :rotfl:

I feel your pain, trying to find somewhere to sit that does not have a cat sprawled on it :D
Our Ronnie likes the end of the sofa so he cat sit glaring out of the patio window but his fleece has to be in position, nice and straight and the caustic look on his face if he gets on the sofa and someone has dumped their handbag or books on his sofa spot :D

so I slump on the sofa making sure my legs don't give Ronnie a kick and then Treacle arrives and leaps up and he likes to be as close as possible as he has an obsession with human hands so I have to get him to tuck in under my arm because he is too heavy to lounge on your chest for amore than a few minites.

Then Sophie appears glaring at Treacle that got the best spot - she has been know to leap up and when he has taken no notice she positions herself and then lefts her rear so she sits on Treacle and only then does he get the message

The way I do it is Barclays Travel Plus Pack £13.50 - £4 loyalty bonus = £9.50 for 6 visits per year. Sign up for the month you are traveling and then cancel the pack, plus World wide family travel insurance :D

I will have to investigate this - not heard of it before. Are the 6 visits to the VIP lounge physical vouchers and if so how long do they take to arrive and do they have expiry dates on them?

I know what you mean about your wedding anniversary taking a back seat.....same happened to me when our son was born on our 2nd wedding anniversary !

I have never caught a break for years.

Our eldest was born on the 22nd, 3 days after my birthday on the 19th so my birthday has been ignored for the last 27 years. then 2 years later December 17th comes along and our wedding anniversary and eldest son is born same day

Cook was wondering if to ring office and tell them when I said no I will arrive early which I did. I don't see why workmate should lose money when I was willing and able to go in and help :)

    Yes I lost 1.5lbs this week :)

Spend 500 nectar points at Argos and get 1000 back. Only for selected accounts so check if your interested.

Time to get our thinking caps on as to what we can spend £2.50 on in Argos - last time some people really were inventive and got some interesting things.
and then there was some that just got very unexciting pillowcases for £2.50 - that was me.
