:(I suppose some you win and some you lose. Just had a receipt from shopping that someone did tonight and was going to wait a couple of days as they bought 2.5kg Maris Piper Potatoes bag and I had seen M at £1 today. (Which is a price normally we'd go for - but, not now as Aldi is really cheaper on the potatoes at the moment.) I saw M had gone to £1 on 13/12 according to msm.

That'll teach me to rely on msm:rotfl::(. The Maris Piper Potatoes bag is currently comparing £2.00 vs £2.00:( for M. Shame as the rest of the comp. (some Cathedral Cheese at £3, compared vs £2 at M) was fairly good. I thought if I delayed I might risk it going N/A for M on the potatoes.

So, I have M £2.00 locked in and it is slashed to a few pence:(, as opposed to a pound and a few pence. It was a snap decision, a quick gamble and I lost the gamble. Story of my life, as whenever I have not done a careful check in advance I've always ended up paying more. Sometimes I just do not have time and just think, cut it short, just enter it in now:(. It always results in the wheels coming off. Like the cereal in Lidl that I thought was good price and just bought, without checking in advance on msm. Too hard to delay, wait, go back, check, come back later... and I found later that Aldi is better price:(.

So, I shall do two seemingly contradictory things in the future. I shall not rely on msm again, but I shall check msm in advance of any shopping (like I will:rotfl: - I can see that not happening on some occasion:( - it would have to - normal life would cease to function if we checked everything carefully as is my wont) as, if I do not check every store's price on msm in advance of buying anything, I will always overpay if I pick up something (anything) in any store and think 'oh that looks good price'! You know what I mean...I shall check msm (as if:rotfl:) but also won't rely on msm being correct.
