Please can I ask are 3500 Boots worth £35 - excuse the obvious question :D

How much are the deos cost each and do you need to buy them in sets of 2 - any flavour?

a good idea to get your Boots points balance up to a nice level before the sales start - and in theory any extra deo could go to the food bank collections

Yes worth £35. Deo costs £1.59 and body wash £2.05 yes buy in multiples of 2. I bought all 14 items on one shop. Boots has a promotion on at the minute £5 worth of points when you buy 2 "luxury" items, no minimum spend. Promotion runs 14-17 Dec.

BIG MOC posted last night about the DB deos. The DB stuff is currently half price.

just checked my Boots app and it says buy 2 body wash get 75 points - doubt if this would trigger. Also spend £35 get 350 points so I would just need to add a few essentials

thanks for this, its giftbags I need as well. I really want all silver ones but when I looked in Poundland last they were cold and silver together but for this much you cant complain and giftbags seem to be very thin on the ground

I put a message on Streetlife and Freecycle and I got a reply late last night that someone had 2 tree stands and they would message me with pictures - not heard anything back yet so I've sent them a message as the tree has to at least have lights on by Saturday

but I am going into Mr !!!!!! anyway so I will have a look at the stands - in theory I could also get a black one and then if the offer does not pan out at least I do have one, otherwise I can go for a refund

I'm at sixes and sevens here, things to wrap as I got my new bows and gift tags plus bought some gift bags from Poundland, 2 for £1 :D

Took my car into the garage for a recall check on the drivers seat belt and whilst I was going to sit and wait the hour for it, partaking in a free coffee or two, decided to make use of the 'free' parking and walked into Bury St Edmunds.

Card Factory gift bags are quite expensive I thought so didn't bother with them, 1 for. £1.49, too dear for me. So pleased I then walked further to Poundland. Got a nice bag of bows there too :D

After that was done I headed for Greggs for a coffee and to meet up with DH as he had somewhere else to go to. He bought his own coffee and a sausage roll. Well, you should have heard him bemoaning the fact that he had to pay £2.75 for his order. Wasn't I lucky then says I, mine was only £2.50 :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm paying for all the walking though, my left knee is giving me jip  butt checks ache :rotfl::rotfl: and back and arms ache, so having a lovely recline and watching 'Our Guy In Latvia'
Anyway my car was all ok, nothing to be done, so that's that :)

mhoc, woohoo, you got your tree :j:j. I saw in Mr T they had some black tree stands for £10. They were just inside the door.

Right I'm off to do a quick catch up then watch Guy

    Afternoon :hello:

Just wondering, what's the advantage in saving up boots points ?

Do they do a double up event or anything like that ?

If you haven't signed up to wuaki TV before (an online streaming site for movies/TV) it's worth a look for cashback

TCB are offering £7.57 when you sign up and make your first purchase/rental (I found movies starting at 99p)

ETA: and it tracked at £7.57 within minutes :D
