got my daughter for company today, she has been throwing up

got a genuine reason for pinching a day extra at Xmas for once :)

BA systems are coming back to life, slowly but surely, still too early for me to check in

Might mean I might not get my window seat in emergency exit (extra legroom) for free! :)

Because I guess BA has servers in different countries and somebody else will nip in.

I pride myself on checking us in 24 hours exactly before the flight - which is the earliest you can check in - and not paying for a prime seat, plus I'll move the kids somewhere close.

Not bleddy paying to reserve a seat

this is a good point actually, does it show on the plan where the emergency exit seats are?
I've got to check youngest son in for his flight on the 23rd - we can do it 48 hours ahead I think. 23rd is also the afternoon eldest child is coming home and she has a dental appointment so I've got to get the timing just right - I need to figure out the exact time I can do it.
when he/we booked the outgoing he was allocated an aisle seat which was good - long dangly legs - but no seat specified for the return trip

  • My £6 from that Ocado shop that went payable has disappeared from tcb :( Well, that will teach me not to trust them and to always pull money straight out of my account when it goes payable. (I did lodge a complaint as unlike some I did actually pay for an order - just not very much! Not expecting to get anything out of it though.)

Also had to submit 2 claims for Xmas present shops I did last week (nothing glitchy), that didn't track.

I also won 25 whole pence on their current Christmas thing.

Hope the little one feels better soon, know the feeling when you can't check in ,but I can never check in online because D/M is special assistance and we get allocated at the airport usually behind 1st class.
Thanks for all your patience explaining all the deals much appreciated.
