Premier Parking Logistics

Hi,

Looking for a bit of advice on what to do about a ticket I received. I've been trying to follow advice from all the various forums but I think I've reach a point where I'm a little unsure how to proceed now..!

I received a ticket from Premier Parking Logistics on the 4th of November. Doing my research I understood that this non-company are not a member of either of the parking associations so best advice was to not get in touch and volunteer my address etc.

Then received a letter yesterday dated the 3rd of December - Formal demand (do not ignore), sent to registered keeper and states that "as the PCN issued to the above vehicle remained unpaid for 14 days, we had the reasonable cause to request the registered keeper details from the appropriate authorities, to issue this notice.". So much for ignoring it then!

I've read a ton of stuff on other forums, specifically about this company, but I've seen CCJ summons letters etc as a result of these tickets and I'm not sure what the best way to go about dealing with this.

It's obviously early days but I'm wondering whether I need to register an appeal now perhaps?

Hope I've provided enough information, any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

  • Definitely Premier Parking Logistics. They have the words "Parking Management Solutions" under their name but presumably as a tag line to confuse you as to who they actually are..!

I've checked address details etc and it's definitely PPL. Based at the Big Pegg in Birmingham.

Not a clue how they got the info, although I suspect that somehow, somewhere, a data protection policy was breached..

then unless you have your full name and address written on your vehicle OR rung/written to them , obtained your info illegally

will locate a contact email at the DVLA for you to contact to find out who has accessed your info , this could be hurtfull for someone

EDIT , can someone link a DVLA email address , (I,m mobile)

  • Yeah that's what I figured but seems to have the details somehow.

I did wonder whether there was something with my name on the passenger seat, and that combined with a parking permit in the window (indicating home location) might be enough to do an electoral roll search perhaps.

asking who has asked for your info between XXX and XXX and inc your full name and reg number , you can add that you have received a NTK from Premier parking logistics , who do not seem to be a member of an approved ATA , and you are wondering how they got the info
