Which would be a shame, we'd never have met!

I wish you well and hope you have time to visit the wonderful places that this country has to offer before they get too crowded.

The number of cars in the UK is increasing much more quickly than the number of road miles, in those areas of the country where population density is increasing traffic congestion is increasing. Of course some of this is due to higher GDP per head, but it is also due to there being more people. If it takes me longer to go to the shops and back then that is a real loss even if I am benefiting from lower prices at the shop because of an unrestricted supply of labour.
    I think....

Doesn't that reflect a problem the UK has had for decades: a lack of political will to build infrastructure at the same rate as the population is increasing?

if, just for arguments sake, we assume building that infrastructure isn't free, then that would cost a considerable sum of money just to get back to where we were before.
Would this spending reduce the much claimed huge net benefit the immigrant bring?

I do think in the future this will be needed because jobs are becoming automated so therefore there won't be any jobs!

I read not that long ago that robots could do care work. They'll be driverless cars so no need for bus drivers, taxi drivers etc.

Then again who will maintain the machines???

Wrong thread but which is more likely, the UK builds infrastructure or restricts population....

Seriously I could see the UK achieving far east growth rates if we allowed (green) development on 10% of the SE.
    I think....
