Seniors TV license

Options
I am 80 years and my TV license is free. My wife is now 75 and is eligible for free license also. Is there a way to transfer my wife's license to our 2nd home. I have applied for one but have been informed that only one free license is per couple. We only use 2nd home at weekends for a total of 2/3 months per year so feel license fee is too much for a few weekends each year.

I can see two easy routes:

    1. Simply dont pay it.
    2. Divorce and apply for two free licences.

    Simple.

Why not just apply for a licence in her name at the second address, thousands of people have the same surname how would they be able to connect her to both addresses.

My second home would be in a place I love. Therefore move full time to your 2nd home & sell the first
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring

I thought some of my posts were pretty useless but that is top class nonsense.

Since you are already getting one license for free for use all year round, is it unreasonable to pay for a second licence in a second home, even if you only use the property for a few weekends per year?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
