May help the team to know what device/browser etc you are viewing the email on. Seems OK to me.

Perfectly readable here at least, though it is a bit squished I must admit to accommodate smaller displays.

Are you viewing that via Webmail in Firefox? Or something else?

I'm sure that the team appreciate the feedback - though sometimes it is far quicker to ask an individual as to what OS/browser they are using than to trawl through analytics to trace that particular user.

I use a netbook with Firefox. When I open the link to the right of this page to view the email, the fonts are sufficiently large for me to read and there is no white space down each side of the page - it draws across the full page.

So maybe the issues are more user system specific than you suggest in your detailed responses - and they have designed to a particular combination that their analytics shows is most in use.

Tried the email in phone/tablet, laptop and large monitor, in various browsers and email clients, and is readable in all for me.

It is VERY relevant if others do not have the issue you do, and very relevant what device/browser/email client a person that does have an issue is using.

I will also post where I wish, and do not need your permission or approval.

We take all feedback on board and it's good to hear your experience.

You'll also understand we need to identify whether this is an issue for just one/a few individuals or for a large number before committing resource to making changes.

Also fermi and Tigsteroonie have tried to help you by asking for more details and fermi has kindly taken time to investigate it further and we're very grateful to them for that. If you could be a little kinder back that would be great.

I am not sure what you mean by pointless credentials. If you are referring to Fermi's signature which explains that he is trusted by MSE sufficiently to be given Board Guide access to the forum - then such credentials are not pointless.


Anyway.

As you can see, MSE Andrea has responded. Unless you wish to work for MSE on their forum design team - or wish to buy MSE and run it yourself - this is the best outcome you can hope for.
