Evening! Got another little spend today of £2.50 - I forgot I needed cheese! Another little shop tomorrow but that should be it then. Wow January has absolutely flown.
Have a lovely evening!

Right, that's it, I'm done with January GC wise!
DH & DD went to the SM to pick up one onion .... yes, one onion ... they came back with butter, cheddar, brie and an onion.
Spend therefore £5.05
Leaving us with the grand sum of 86p left until the end of January!
Actually, I'm not disappointed with how this month has gone ... we've had nearly a fortnight of no takeaways and a lot less wastage of food bought in.
So, good luck to all those in until the bitter end, I shall keep an eye on how it's going, but now I'm off to declare my aims for FebruaryHope I see you over there

However £2.41 of todays shop is stuff for next Christmas, I just forgot to separate it out before I paid. Semi-pleased with the end result.
On to next month now...and actually you are just under the £200 anyway
Spend today with Mr T = £22.24, but lots of it for the stock cupboard - so saving going forward. Will need top up on F & V etc at the weekend though. Still hoping to stay in budget but has seemed an awfully long month.

I am very pleased with how this month turned out. I managed to stay under budget for three out of four weeks and we still have loads of food in the cupboard and freezers for next month. I am going to pop over to February's challenge and sign up for that one after reducing my weekly spend. Well done everyone on sticking with it even though it was a long time between paydays

Hello all
Declaring a big overspend of £340.81 against a daft target of £250.00. At least I have decreased my spend every month since November when I started to track it again. I am aiming for a further reduction in FebruarySave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

I'm declaring final spends for January of £193.40/£400. That's including food for next week's meal plan.
I'm pleased with the end result and pleased that the cupboardsand freezers are now pretty empty, apart from what we need until the end of next week and a few necessary store cupboard items. :T
I'm heading over to the January thread from tomorrow, with a reduced budget of £300, because my eldest is staying at uni full time until after his finals, so we're one less adult for the time being.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

Last two spends for Jan.
£11.28 at tescos for milk, cake making ingredients for after school children and annoyingly redbush tea and butter which I had at home already!
£3.09 on more milk (must buy more in weekly shop!) plus reduced chicken for £1 for curry tonight. Forgot bag so had to pay for one.
Total £558.82 for Jan. Over budget but better than any month previously.Oct grocery budget £368.40 / 6000 -
