My supper tonight was off plan:eek: but very tasty. OH had major surgery yesterday and I didn't leave the hospital until 4.30. I managed to create a spaghetti dish for myself, DS and DDad with 4 mushrooms, half an onion, 1 leek, 2 limp celery sticks, fried, then I added the leftover pot of cottage cheese, the leftover philadelphia. I bubbled this for a while then chucked inloads of parsley and a tin of chick peas and served it with cheese on top. Yummy:jNow Mrs FrugalinShropshire:T Proud to be mortgage and debt free:j0

NSD for me today, yippee! I had a minor quandary about what leftovers to take for lunch tomorrow as we had tea at Mum's tonight, but I have a cheese and caramelised onion sandwich all bagged up and ready, and if I remember rightly there's one of those toaster bags at work and a toaster so I'll have a tangy toastie. Curry tomorrow night, which will mean I'll have to buy a few bits tomorrow - mainly veg but I'll try and get enough for the weekend so I won't have to go to Mr T again. My sister popped into Lidl for me to get a big pack of chicken thighs for £2.25 (skin on, bone in) which I'll de-bone and take the skin off ready to use in stock for a soup at the weekend.
Have a good evening.
KB xx

Had a little spend yesterday (£4.63), but another NSD today! That's 3 so far - aiming for 10 between now and the start of my next month on the 23rd. Shouldn't be too much of a challenge, got everything I need for tomorrow already, and I'm away with my scouts Friday & Saturday night. Will do an online shop tomorrow to be delivered Sunday, which should in turn get me through most of the following week
