Switching bank accounts - Any bad experiences??

So we've already got 2 Santander 1-2-3 accounts maxed, and I'm now thinking of opening a third joint account. Problem is my main account is NatWest, and I've also got a Halifax reward account, and obviously Santander 1-2-3 account.
I'm not very good on detail, so the thought of keeping track of another current account isn't very appealing. So I'm thinking of ditching my NatWest account (which I've had for the last 15 years) and moving to a Santander joint account using the 'You switch' service.
What I'm a little bit concerned about is obviously salary/bills/DD been transferred across.
The 'Switch Guarantee' sounds almost too good to be true...I just give them old account details and they do everything else, including sorting out accidental payments....
Call me old fashioned - Anything that seems too good to be true in my book is usually a scam, this clearly isn't.
Any one actually used this service to switch bank accounts...and any problems to report??

Another one with no issues switching.
In fact I'm just switching from NatWest to Halifax for the £100 bonus. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -
I've switched 4 times in the last 18 months and not had one problem at all!0

Thanks for the reassurance, application done.0

No problems here, either. The Co-op were very slow to pay the joining bonus. I had to ring them twice to ask about it, but they paid it the same day as my second phone call.0

Only issue I've had is a couple of my Tesco savings accounts direct debits not transferring across properly.0

If I've read OP correctly, I don't think you can switch a single account to a joint account.0
