Hi
I'm doing a vegetable curry tonight to use up my veg that is left in the fridge. I really fancy some sort of spicey potatoes with them part haven't a clue what to do. Any ideas greatly welcome, I really can't face boring rice again!!!!!

cut potatoes into inch squares and cook until soft
1 onion, dice and chop
get wok or frying pan and fry onions until soft , add chilli powder to taste , bit of tumaric, garlic
add tin of tomatoes (chopped if possible) to the above
add some Tomatoe puree (about tablespoon)
cook for about 5 minutes
add cooked potatoes and simmer for another minute or so
add more chilli if not hot enough for your taste
add tin of chopped tomatoes andEx forum ambassador

I love spicy new potatoes. Boil new potatoes (unskinnd):j for 10 mins. Drain until dry and then bash lightly with a potato masher. Sprinle with paprika and toss in hot oil. Roast in the oven for 25 mins. DeliciousTry and do a good deed every day.0

As Browntoa's recipe, but use Garam Masala instead of the chilli and turmeric, and add some roughly chopped coriander at the end.0

heat oli (veg not olive) Add garlic, Chilli, tumeric, cummin and ground coriander. Add onion, fry till transparent, add cubed pots. Lovely. Can also be done in the oven - don't worry if you are an ingredient or two missing - I freqently forget one! it won't be spicy though if no chilli. This gives you a dry dish - suitable as an accompaniment. Add tomatoes to create a sauce.
