And???? My query was raised on November 9th. Got a reply last week with the standard 'supply further details' to buy time.
My bank sorted it in the end. No excuses, Christmas does not come as a surprise.

I don't think hollydays' comment was aimed at you.
It was in response to someone pointing out that the Vodafone rep didn't reply for some time.
And she probably meant they were particularly busy at the moment.

The Vodafone rep replies............12 days after the customer posted on here.
13 if you can count correctly.
    Dont rock the boat

    Oh so close.

    Try again!

    Posted on the 9th
    1 day = 10th
    2 days = 11th
    ....
    12 days = 21st.
    Thinking critically since 1996....
  • So glad I returned my vodafone mobile now! They immediately cut my phone off saying I hadn't paid the direct debit that hadn't even had time to go through (within first two days of the new contract).., it was supposed to go through in about three weeks. My first and last contact with vodafone lol.

I ordered an Iphone plus off giff gaff, loan immediately approved, costs £27 a month for the phone, I pay for the calls I actually make (£7.50 a month) rather than another £20 plus for high useage I don't need and I'm still saving £10 a month even if I paid for the unlimited data bundle, which most of the time I won't need. Highest end phone, good price. And I'm not tied into a contract (I did put £100 deposit down).
  • I have the same problem have been trying to get a refund of £125 since 16 October 2015. Web chat emails phone calls and letters to their head office all with no result. They just ignore all.
    Hopeless

    blast them on social.

they'll sort it out within 24 hours.

they HATE any kind of negative customer experience posted on social, so they're quick to silence you.
  • Have done that Chuckley with no success but will keep posting.

maybe you were too polite? keep posting on their FB page if they keep ignoring.

like 'day two and Vodafone are still ignoring me...'

Although I find a shady tweet on Twitter works for me.
  • Sounds like you had a lucky escape OP. Vodafone won't let me cancel an old contract and continue to bill me for a number I ported to GIff Gaff last October. Now I'm seeing late payments come up on my credit file, even though I've been told the account is cancelled. At my wits end with it. And tweeting, facebooking, calling, going into store, live chat has all failed to get it resolved...

I tried this route. It didn't work for me.
