The Mortgage Free in Three - Take 4 challenge (MFiT-T4)

Thanks for the chart. It's exciting to see that I'm ahead of what I thought was a fairly challenging goal! We've just arranged a remortgage, which will be at a 0.05% higher rate than the 2 year fix we're ending, but will be fixed for 5 years. As it is, if we continue at the current rate of overpayments, I think we may actually be able to pay it off in about 8 years (10 in total). Very exciting to see the numbers.0

Just checked the chart again and I'm in the yellow at 28.34%, which is good. Apparently I'm about £900 behind where I should be, but I've had another mortgage payment and made a payment of £559 on top, so I'm a little closer. Forgot that I'm having two fillings next week so disposable income may actually be a bit lower this month, but next month should be quite good!0

How can I see the latest chart? I have my direct debit happening on Friday of this week. So my mortgage is moving on lower. Many thanks.

Hi,
Looks like I've missed the end of Jan deadline, but I'm starting to think about the end of April a bit earlyAnd also plan for the update on my signature
I've got 6k I'm going to put into my SIPP for this tax year, but that's all I've really got available.
I saw another poster's thread title - "Frugality gives us options"
I think I need to do a review of what's coming in, and out, in April to see where I can trim.

Thanks trix-a-belle. I have now put in my update. Yes, the last three months have gone very quickly.
Mortgage on 3rd April 2017 £6349.140 -
Bit of a step back for me - we ended up moving house much earlier than anticipated so savings took a hit! We're still renting (super high house prices here and we're still getting used to new jobs/area so we're renting in the meantime as that seems like the sensible thing to do). The new place we're renting could potentially tide us over for many years until we're ready to buy (wherever that may be) so just saving like mad now! :money:
Hopefully should make up the shortfall of the last year thanks to a promotion, my next update should look a lot healthier, fingers crossed!
Good luck everyone!a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0
