  • Agree with Wombat, Sox you are in a great position, and the shares will definitely help. It's a difficult job to time the market, and it's effectively guesswork...
    Good luck with the challenge!

    Hi all
Would love to join in this challenge. I have just submitted the form with a target of £50000. We owe just under £54000 at the moment and are tied in until March 2022. So would be very happy to owe only £4000 at the end of this challenge. We are hoping to op mortgage by £1000 a month this is on top of a fixed regular payment of £600 . good luck everyone

I'd like to join too please and have just submitted my form! December balance on mortgage is £139386 (14.5 years left) and the challenge is to get it to £99,999. The start will be a little slow, but we're able to remortgage in July (we can book the rate now) and the better rate will allow nearly £200 month extra OP

I don't have a diary yet but am contemplating one.....just not sure I have much to say!

Hi ya, just to say that I do intend to join in again for this challenge but we're in the process of remortgaging at the moment so I'll re-post once I know this has gone through and what our goal will be! Good luck everyone :)

Thank you trix-a-belle for organising this

Now that I have my number and can see the "figure" in the first post, it seem's more realistic

Need to start with some OP's, so might count up the money in the slummy jar
