Desperate for help from Vodafone

I am posting this here in a desperate bid to attract attention from anyone from Vodafone who can help me.

I had two contracts with Vodafone. I wanted to cancel one, and upgrade the other.

What they did is upgrade one (correctly), and then cancel it 30 days later! And the one that should have been cancelled was still live!
After MUCH wrangling with Vodafone they have now reconnected it, but have billed me an early termination fee of £822!

I can't waste any more time and energy on attempting to converse with Vodafone's customer service people.

IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP ME?

    Follow the repeated instructions on the Vodafone Complaints Thread (work backwards) to contact the Web Relations Team.

  • I'm posting on here in the hope that I can put an end to my 5 week nightmare with Vodafone! It all started last month when I upgraded my iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5s at the end of my contract, when the phone was delivered they refused to hand it over until I gave them my old handset! I told them this was wrong but the delivery guy was adamant this was his instructions. I reluctantly handed the iPhone 4s over and rang vodafone straight away.
    They apologised and told me the upgrade had changed 3 days later to an exchange in error! They assured me my iPhone 4s would be sent back immediately!
    4 weeks later after numerous phone calls to Vodafone and false statements of call backs from 4 different managers (not 1 returned my call) they finally admitted to losing my handset!!!!
    I eventually got through to resolution team who apologised and ordered my a brand new iPhone 4s. After 4 days and no insite of delivery I rang back only to be told that the handset would not be released as vodafone don't stock iphone 4s anymore!!! I was advised that only that department could authorise another handset and there was no direct line through to them so I would have to wait for call back!

    Suprise suprise no call back! I then today tried the live chat for a change where a manager offered me am iphone 5s but I would have to pay difference of £100. Wasn't completely satisfied but agreed! The shockingly they told me they cannot process it as vodaphone are not processing any iphone 5s at present!
    There answer was to refund me cost of iphone 4s of £50!!!!!!!! What a joke! I couldn't even buy a second hand one for that!
    My son is now left without xmas present as the phone was going to him and I purchased a sim only Contract for this missing handset! I'm now paying for a contract that I can't use!
    I just don't know where to go from here! Vodafone customer service is awful, they are all sympathetic and apologise but yet no one can resolve it they just keep passing the buck!

    You should have stuck to what you knew, handed nothing over and called Vodafone. At that point they could have fixed the error and re-scheduled delivery of the new phone.
