What is my best option? Advice needed please

I have been with Talktalk for 3 years (phone and simply broadband) and I have been happy with them (surprisingly). My contract will end start of January 2016 (although value line rental is paid till April). Tom complicate things more, I am in process of moving house and expecting to move possibly end of February 2016. Their retention team could not give me any exciting deal to continue so what is my best option:
1- Let the contract run out in January and start a new contract i the new house when I move (with talktalk or any other). For the month gap I could use mobile internet as both mine and my wife mobile have unlimited 4G internet with unlimited tethering. In this case what will happen to the remaining 3 months of line rental already paid?
2- Try to push more for a better renewal deal and then transfer the line to the new address.
3- If I let the contract run out, will it continue on monthly basis (as with mobile phones) as that can be an option until I move
Advice please

End the contract at termination date .
Yes it will roll to a standard 30 day contract .
If you take out a new contract then move but the ISP cannot supply your new premises you will have to pay the contract off in full .
Better discounts are usually available to new customers .0 -
Thank you for that. Actually they checked and they can supply the new property. Another issue...I am hoping to take their free offer of mobile sim for 12 months (in compensation for the cyper attack) for my son but will that terminate few weeks later when I terminate my broadband contract?0

I have just agreed with talktalk to let the contract run on monthly basis after end of term..Obviously they like that as I am paying more but it gives me flexibility. They still want 30 days notice even on the monthly term. What a pain it was trying to convince them that I dont want to renew0

Your contract doesn't run out, so you wouldn't have started a new contract in January.
That is the end of your minimum term, you would then go onto a 30 day rolling contract, exactly the same as what you have 'negotiated'.Move along, nothing to see.0
