Did you appeal on day 26 (NOT 28) as we said, as the keeper? Online?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Yes, sorry I applied 26 days after using the online form.
I got an email to acknowledge the appeal.

Reading the email again, it says to phone them if I get no reply after 35 days.

    Should I call UKPC ?

I would report UKPC to the BPA as the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you to do

enclose a copy of the NTK, the appeal acknowledgement and a copy of the DRP letter

complain that UKPC have breached the BPA CoP by putting the invoice out to debt collectors whilst an appeal is pending and logged onto their system, which seems to be a common "practice" of theirs even though its not allowed

    ignore DRP

its not your job to phone UKPC for their mistakes, its their job to follow the BPA CoP

Never phone a PPC, they will try to trick you into talking about the day and who was driving or will be aggressive about you paying them.

    Email:

    appealmoreinfo@ukparkingcontrol.com

    like in this thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5418120

And if UKPC don't cough up the POPLA code by Friday, complain to:

    aos@britishparking.co.uk

(or copy them into the first complaint if you prefer). Complain as keeper of course!

The only reason I say don't just complain to the BPA is because I know what they'll say. The BPA now expect a person to have chased the POPLA code up, which is all wrong and was stated to be a breach of the CoP two years ago... but they seem to think that's tough...
