Moving areas next year and the water company will be South East Water.
Anyone here with them that can tell me what the monthly water rates are please?
Or will they tell me if I call them and tell them the address?

You can find out the charges here
http://www.southeastwater.co.uk/your-account/about-your-bill/water-charges/check-your-water-charges
Depends on the area you're in as there are multiple rates across their region.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Thank you
Have since found out that the property has a water meter.
Not sure how to work out the costs on a metered property0 -
Ask the existing owner for copies of bills ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

To work out allow approx. 55 cubic metres(m3) per person who will be living in the property e.g. 4 people(including kids) = 220m3.
Then work out cost 220 x water charge per m3, 220 x sewerage charge per m3. add standing charge for water and sewerage.
chelseablue? moving? surely you are not Jose?0 -
OP: even if you were on RV billing, no one would be able to tell you the cost without knowing the rateable value of the property.
Cardew: I know Jose is out of work, but I don't think he's going to be struggling to pay his water bill just yet...No free lunch, and no free laptop
